Northeastern undergraduate students may complete a full-time or part-time co-op position for 6 months through the IASLab. Co-op students work closely with advanced graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, or research scientists at either the IASLab’s Northeastern University or Massachusetts General Hospital location. Typical responsibilities include study design, study implementation, scheduling and recruitment of participants, stimuli development, and data acquisition and analysis. All current undergraduate research assistants are encouraged to apply.
Interested students should inquire about paid and unpaid co-op opportunities that may be available. Students who have received research fellowships or scholarships may be eligible to work in the IASLab with their funding. For more information, please contact Aidan Mahoney at [email protected].
Undergraduate students may complete a 10 hour a week volunteer research assistant (RA) position through the IASLab. Northeastern students are given priority. RAs work closely with advanced graduate students or full time staff at either the IASLab’s Northeastern University or Massachusetts General Hospital location. Typical responsibilities include study implementation, scheduling and recruitment of participants, stimuli development, and data acquisition and analysis. We prioritize students in the hiring process who can commit to more than 1 semester.
Interested students should inquire about opportunities that may be available. Students who have received research fellowships or scholarships may be eligible to work in the IASLab with their funding.

Typical responsibilities include study implementation, scheduling and recruitment of participants, stimuli development, and data acquisition and analysis. Students will also write a lab course paper under the mentorship of a graduate student or a full time staff member.
